Back of the Book

If you've ever had a journal (or perhaps a diary) then somewhere in the pages of your private book is a description about you. Perhaps it's just your name, written down in your best handwriting, neat print, or maybe even in sloppy cursive (*raises hand*). Maybe you've put a bit more about yourself than just your name.

I am a proud, faithful follower of the Roman Catholic Church and I try to follow the Will of my God and Father in whatever ways possible (I'm definitely better at some ways then others). I care very much for my family, immediate and extended.

I love the country that I live in (though recently it's been misbehaving). I love the people of the United States; my people, our people. I continually pray for them; for us.

I have many hobbies that I enjoy taking part in. If you ask my Papi (that would be my wonderful father), he would probably say that my number one hobby is reading. I adore a good book. I prefer classic novels (such as Emma or Pride and Prejudice, both by Jane Austen) to the more recent, "sparkle and glamour" story lines. Yet I'm good with pretty much any story, so long as it has a good plot and keeps away from crudity.

On top of reading I also love playing sports such as softball and horseback riding. I never used to like writing, in fact I down right hated it. It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I finally got into the art (though truthfully I still rather write poetry then lengthy term papers). On another note, I also enjoy voice acting with my brother for characters we make up.

Music is my passion. I now play 5 instruments: Viola, Violin, Piano, Guitar, and Vocals. I enjoy every minute that I play music and I even get goose-bumps after listening to a particularly good piece (like Carol of the Bells by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra). My dream is to be able to spread my love for God through the music I play, and perhaps even travel the world doing it!

And, of course, I am a lover of science. The world is all the more amazing once you understand what it takes to make it work.
